Sunday 4th February was a very cold, somewhat snowy day. But 9 hardy Winter League anglers turned out to fish the 6th and final round of this year's series on Cressage Meadow. Only one fish was caught, a 4 Lbs 1 Ozs chub, from peg 11 by Terry Thompson from the Wirral. With just 4 from 6 match results to count, this meant that Terry took a clean sweep by winning the last match and the Winter League with just 10 penalty points and scooped both pools! Well done Terry! Second was Carl Pavey on 12 points and third was Bob Smith with 13. A really tightly fought series that went down to the wire. For the overall result.
