It is with great sadness that I have to report the sudden and unexpected death of Tim Breeze. Tim has been a Bailiff on the Leighton waters for many years and was always on hand to deal with any trouble makers that tried to illegally fish our waters. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. A much larger than life and jolly character, who was really just a gentle giant of a man. Here is the obitury that appeared in the Shropshire Star:

BREEZE Timothy (Tim) Of Buildwas, Telford. Passed away peacefully at home with his Family by his side on November 3, 2020. Aged 59 years. Loving Husband of Jayne, Stepdad of Stephanie and Anthony. Private Funeral Service.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic latest lockdown, match angling has been prohibited until at least 2 December 2020. This has necessitated the postponement of the next 2 Winter League matches at Wigmore on 15th November and Monkhall on 29th November. Please let anyone that may not have seen this post know about the situation.
