I am very sad to report that Graham Davies died on 9 April 2013 after his brave battle against cancer. Many of you will remember Graham, and his wife Pam, really getting stuck into the work parties on our river when they first joined the Society, after many successful years managing a British Touring Car Team. Unfortunately, it was only a couple of years later that Gaham contracted cancer. But he turned out to as many of the matches that he could, with Pam having to net his fish for him as he dare not risk lifting anything heavy. He and Pam also managed their own fishery, which has now been passed on to their very fist customer, who is a fitting person to manage it from here onwards. Pam will be retiring to a home where her 89 year old mother also resides, as she is the only family she now has.
I am sure that all LAS members will want to join me in passing on our sincere condolences to Pam.
