After our Chairman, Carl Pavey, and I inspected Cressage Meadow this morning, we have decided to call the Scramble Match ON. Draw 0900 Hrs at peg 2.

There are 24 fishable pegs in Cressage Meadow and Keith Bowers will have our tractor and trailer at Peg 2 by 0845 Hrs to take tackle to pegs for you. This is because the meadow is still not easily passable with vehicles and somebody has already made a right mess of the track around peg 9 obviously getting stuck. PLEASE WOULD ALL MEMBERS NOT TAKE VEHICLES INTO THE MEADOW FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON. If the track is cut up any more, this will lose the riparian owner the grant for the ecology strip and we will all be BANNED from using it again. Just remember that this is the only section of our water that elderly and disabled anglers can access, so please respect this warning.
