Sunday 8 September brought a definite Autumnal feel to the weather after a very dry, hot Summer, but the river was still very low, clear and sluggish. This really made it hard going for this match and produced some low weights. Winner was our Match Secretary, Dave Upton, from peg 13 with 3 barbel for 15 Lbs 11 Ozs. Second was Clive Biddulph from his "favourite peg 95 (he's managed to draw it twice in a row now, so should know how to fish it!) with 13 Lbs dead and third was Carl Duckett from peg 6 with 11 Lbs dead. Graham Jones managed to stretch his lead to 36 points in the league, with Nick Bastock in second place with 27. But Colin Morris has closed the gap with 24 points in third place.
