On a fairly mild and overcast 2nd December, our third round of this year's Winter League was fished on Melverley Birches pool. Winner with 36 Lbs 8 Ozs taken mostly on pole and pellet, was that man again, Clive Biddulph. Runner-up was Brian Tinman with 27 Lbs 14 Ozs taken on the same method. Third was yours truly with exactly 24 Lbs caught on pole/pellet and on the tip. This means that after 3 of the 10 rounds have been fished, Clive is well in the lead with 27 from a possible 30 points; Brian is second with 20 and I am third with 19 - but followed closely by Nick Bastock and Gordon Bradley on 18 and 16 respectively. So, it's all to fish for!

As usual, I will be emailing those of you that have advised me of an email address with a newsletter and a membership renewal letter on, or about, the 30 December. Please ensure you have advised me of any change of email address, or you will not receive yours! All others will receive a snail mail letter sent via Royal Mail posted around the same date to avoid the Christmas post.
