I'm very pleased to report that after a few attempts in matches, Steve Boyd finally managed to tempt a good sized barbel out of peg 103 in last Sunday's match. The river was running low and gin clear after all the abstraction that farmers have been engaged in upstream. This made it very difficult to locate fish for most competitors. But Steve put this fish and a chub on the scales for 12 Lbs and third place. Well done Steve!
