Considering it was the Bank Holiday weekend, there was a good turn-out for this match, with 23 anglers on the bank. Warm and overcast for much of the 5 hours, with a slight tinge of colour in the water, conditions looked good. However, the results were not very good! Winner was Tommy Dolan from peg 6 with 20 Lbs 10 Ozs - four barbel taken on banded 6mm pellets. Tommy just pipped Gary Stinton into second place who put weight of 20 Lbs 2 Ozs on the scales from peg 102. Third was Paul Harrison with 10 Lbs 12 Ozs. That man, Graham Jones, has ominously stretched his lead at the top of the table with 31 points from Nick Bastock in second with 25.
