On a very windy day, with torrential rain forecast, 14 winter leaguers contested this, the sixth match for ten at Monkhall Fishery. Drawing one of the end pegs, Ken Arnold showed how it is done by putting an impressive 37 Lbs on the scales by using the long pole and pellet for mainy F1s. Second with 29 Lbs was Nick Bastock, using similar tactics. In third spot was Gordon Bradley with 26 Lbs 8 Ozs taken in the tip and method feeder.
